1. 뉘른베르크
오래 기다리셨습니다. '뉘른베르크의 계란' 이라는 것이 발명되었다고 합니다. 하지만 가르쳐준 친구도 나도 그 정체를 모릅니다. 교회의 종 대신도 되고 항해에도 도움이 될 거라 하는데…. 도구점이라면 알지도 모릅니다. 잘 물어 봐 주시지 않겠습니까？

2. 계란의 비밀 The Secret of the Egg
'뉘른베르크의 계란' 이란 것은 시계를 말합니다. 뉘른베르크의 헨라인이라는 장인이 태엽을 사용해 새로운 시계를 발명한 것입니다. 종래의 것보다 훨씬 작기 때문에 '계란' 이라고 물리는 것입니다. 그게 왜 항해에 필요한지는 항구에서 물어 보십시오.
