                          Dragon's origin
                          I came up with a fascinating theory while I was doing some research about dragons. Since the notion of dragons exists in every culture, isn't it possible that a culture's conception of a dragon is rooted in its beliefs about snakes? I came up with a way to investigate my theory further, but let me give you some background before I get into that.

                          Something that means snake
                          Attributing supernatural power to snakes is hardly uncommon. In most cultures, snakes are seen to possess a special life force like immortality or reincarnation. If you think about a snake shedding its skin, it's not too difficult to imagine why. And this powerful life force is also attributed to dragons...

                          Interest in an enormous snake
                          Which got me thinking, if dragons born out of people's reverence for snakes, wouldn't learning more about snakes allow one to learn more about dragons? So I'd like to learn more about giant snakes of the world - the ones so big that people mistake them for dragons. This is where you come in...

                          You've researched the great snakes of the Amazon and the Anaconda and such.
                          There aren't many people around lucky enough to have actually seen those things up close. So I was wondering if perhaps you could catch an Anaconda for me. I know it's dangerous, but...

                          Capture of the monster serpent
                          that's why I decided to ask such a great Voyager as you. So what do you say? I have no idea where one would even start preparing... I've heard some rumours about Anaconds down in the tavern. Probably best to start there.

                          Bahia veteran
                          You want to catch an Anaconda? It doesn't matter how much experience you've got, that's gonna be tough. I do remember hearing about someone in Bahia who can catch Anacondas no problem. He'll help you out in exchange for a cow. How about you go ask him? You can get a cow along the way in Azores or Malaga.

                          Famed snake catcher
                          You want to take an Anaconda home? I wouldn't recommend it though I do have several of them myself. When I went to the Amazon, I saw a native capture one. I was amazed at how deftly he captured it. So I learned how he did it and decided to try capturing one for myself.

                          In place of the anaconda
                          At the time I didn't imagine that I'd wind up raising them like I do now, but such is life. Hmm... you did come all this way to see me, I guess there's no harm in letting you take one home... but not for free. How about a trade? You bring me a cow, I'll give you an Anaconda.

                          Procure the anaconda
                          Wow! Is that cow for me? I'll definitely be able to catch some anacondas with the leather I get off of this guy. Here's your anaconda, as promised. I picked a nice looking one that you'd be able to handle. It's definitely too small to eat you or anything.
