A girl's concerns

Eventually, the woman used magic to turn herself into a laurel tree.

Laurel leaves and a broken man
Upon becoming a laurel tree, the woman said "I cannot love you back, but please take this in my place", and she dropped a branch covered with laurel leaves for him.
Distraught over losing his love, the man took the branch and created a crown with it, which he continued to wear till the end of his days.

The walls have ears
So since the guy that's bothering me knows a lot about mythology, I'm sure this will be enough to get him to understand my feelings.
I'm sure they have laurel crowns in the Napoli Church. Why don't you go and ask the priest there to give you one? Then you can go and give it to... Hm? That's strange. It felt like someone was right behind me just now...

It was a sad ending for the young man, but it appears that the laurel crown has a sad mythological history behind it. The Church of Napoli supposedly has laurel crowns. The priest there promised me I could have one from the top of the altar. I should go check it out.
