1. Surrounding information
Ther's a lake all right. If you go a little way out from Cairo, you can see it. There are a number of lakes around there. Lake Manzala and Lake Timsah... and there's one other, a fairly big lake. If you go that far, then you'll be close to the Red Sea. If you take the land route, the route between Cairo and Suez is convenient.

2. Lake in a gorge
There appears to be a lake nearby. The lake can be checked from the outskirts of Cairo, so I'll set sail immediately.
