A comparatively large island
I hear the further east you sail from here the less islands there are. You should probably stick to the waters around the Island of New Guinea. You could head down to the southern continent but I wouldn't expect to find any trade goods down that way...

Product for trade
I see... Looks like you took on a heck of a job there. But I do think I can help you complete one part of it though. You can find it around here as well, but you can also harvest sandalwood around the eastern part of the Island of New Guinea as well as the islands even further east of there. Why don't you go see for yourself?

A calm climate
Yeah I bet for you all it must feel pretty hot around here. The further south you go from here the cooler it gets but if you go too far it almost gets too cold... The continent south of here is about in the middle so maybe that would be the most comfortable climate for you. I wonder if there are any islands there though...

South east of New Guinea
Oh, I know just the island. I was heading for the Island of New Guinea but unfortunately I got thrown off course to the south-east. I stayed going that direction and ended up coming across an island. There were people living on it but they sure were startled to see me. It seemed like they'd never seen anyone from outside the island before.

The unknown island
There is a relatively large island to the south-east of New Guinea that stretches from north to south in the water there. There is a good chance that sandalwood grows there natively and given its location the climate should be comfortable. This island seems like it meets all the conditions for the job. All I need to do now is reach the island and find out if what I've heard is really true.
