      Athens Adventurer's Guild
The scholar at Athens is looking for some help. He says he made a discovery while organizing all the reports on Mesopotamian mythology and wants you to investigate. Come to think of it, Inanna and Ishtar were one and the same, right? Oh well, why don't you go and hear what he has to say.

                      1. Protector of Ur
According to the investigation, the protector of Ur, the moon god Nanna, later came to be known as Sin in Akkadian language. If I remember correctly, in the Akkadian Dynasty, there was once a King named Sin. Would the gentleman of Basra know?

                      2. The King who became God
There is much remaining on that king in the histories. Quite probably because he declared himself a god. Most of the inscriptions remaining refer to him after he became a god. Most of the inscriptions remaining refer to him after he became a god. It appears that the practice of kings becoming gods started with him.

                      3. King of the Akkadian Empire
The name of the king was Naram-sin. He marched on many conquests and expanded Akkadian territory to its widest extent. On the other hand, because of the rebellions in these conquered provinces, he also can be said to have created the discord that eventually brought down the Empire. I believe the Archives in Calicut have a translated version of his story.

                      4. The Works of the King
Naram-sin destroyed the Temple of Enlil in Nippur. This is not something that even a god-king will be forgiven of. The many gods, including Enlil, are angered. A dragon shall cross the mountains of Zargos. The end of Akkad is near.

                      5. The appearance of Naram-Sin
Where is Naram-sin, King of all he Surveys? Where is his glory as when he defeated the Lullubi tribes and presented his victory as a offering to the sun as he stood on the corpses of the dead wearing the helmet of the gods. Such a noble sight was preserved in stone. Oh great King, where are you?

                      King of All
A stone depiction of Naram-Sin, who gave his name to the moon god, exists somewhere in the lands of the Akkadian Dynasty. Since so many of these stone remains are found in the area east of Basra. I will head there first. I will begin my investigations after landing.

The stele of Naram-sin, King of Akkad.
                          The Akkad kingdom was located
in the northern regions of the
                          southern Mesopotamian land of
                          Babylonia. Naram-sin conquered the
                          surrounding areas, increasing the
size of his empire. He later proclaimed
                          himself a god.
