              "Grand Admiral of the Caribbean"

This quest appears if you use job search at a guild and look at Treasure Hunter/Historian jobs' possible quests, listed alongside the usual Treasure of Ilkhanate quest. But I can't ever remember seeing this specific quest in my many years of playing UWO.

For those who may wander here and wonder as I always did, I suspect this quest may date back to the early days of UWO, back when job changing was a maddening chore compared to how simple it is nowadays. When job changing was revamped and new card quests were added, perhaps the old quests faded from memory, but are (somehow) remembered in the game's database.

That's my theory anyway. Feel free to prove me wrong. No Asian wikis I've consulted turned up any concrete evidence, though a couple Japanese blogs seem to suggest I'm close to the mark. Cheers to you, UWO, and your everlasting mysteries.

(What? Old timers can ramble a little. I'll make a helpful post next time, you'll see.)

Guilder, I'll just take the opportunity to mention that your help has been absolutely invaluable over all these years, man. Apart from being very knowledgeable, we know that your opinion is very reliable and honest. Quite important thing when digging for info around here.
As for me, I'm just an old time who's slowly returning, but never had the chance to thank you. Carry on the magnificent job.
