대량 포획 계획
북쪽에서 온 상인이라면, 얼마 전까지 여기서 술을 마시며 자기 고향에서 본 새 떼 이야기를 하던 녀석이겠군. 엄청난 무리가 남쪽에서 북쪽으로 일제히 날아간다고 해. 그 상인은 새를 대량으로 포획해서 팔 궁리를 하는 것 같던데, 라울은 어떻게 생각해?

라울의 불안
수가 아무리 많아도, 생명을 함부로 빼앗는 건 나쁜 거예요. 그 새가 식용으로 쓰이기도 한다고 듣기는 했지만, 어떤 방식으로 살아가는 새인지 알지도 못하면서 마구 잡아버린다니, 어쩐지 불안해서…, 그 새에 관해 조사해주지 않을래요?

생태규명
조사 대상인 새의 무리는 남쪽에서 북쪽을 향해 날아갔다고 한다. 라울의 말도 있고 하니 실제로 보고 생태를 밝혀보도록 하자. 포르토벨로 북쪽 대륙 동쪽 연안에 상륙한 다음, 북쪽 방향에 있는 거대고목 주변을 조사해보면 될 것 같다.
