      Trail and error of Vermeer
      No Expiration
      Stockholm Adventurer's Guild
A request has come from a town craftsman for you as you've seen Vermeer's paintings many times. It seems that Vermeer didn't like the previous paintings so he's going by trial and error. Find out what he didn't like, and what he did about it. Ask about it in Amsterdam.

            1. Sometimes just nothing goes well
Vermeer is rigorous about space organization and hidden line drawing. He worries about hidden line drawing. When you draw the interior of a room, no matter what the pattern of the floor becomes twisted. The more and more you go to the edges of the room. So how do you think this can be resolved?

            2. Blindfolded
Vermeer worries about the warping that occurs when the hidden lines are physically drawn in the horizontal, and resolved this by hiding the warped part. Vermeer's space organization is incredible, so no sense of being out of place is felt in his works. The painting is in Mercator's Mansion.

By Vermeer. In this work, he uses perspective to distort the composition. In the mirror up high, the face of the lady at the instrument is directed towards the adjacent man. The inscription on the virginal reads, Music: companion of joy, balm for sorrow.
