Did you know that among the trade goods of Taiwan is a high-quality deerskin? A noble who fancies that deerskin would like some of the deer themselves. I s'pose they're rearing to raise them... Now I know what you're thinking, but I still hope for your help. I imagine you could gather info around Anping in Taiwan.

Plum Flower Spots
A deer with buckskin used as a trade good? Of course I've heard of it. It has white spots on its body like a plum flower--that's how you can recognize it. It's a highly valued deer in Taiwan, as its horns are also used as a tonic. If you want to find one in the wild, you should talk with the scholar.
Connection to the Natives
It seems that deer is also hunted a lot by the indigenous people of Taiwan. So we can assume that at least some live in the mountain interior.
There might even be some further deep into the outskirts of Tamsui beyond where others have traveled thus far. How about you go and take a look?
Highly-valued Deer
The deer with the buckskin highly-valued as a trade good has white spots on its body like a plum flower. Its horns are precious as well and fetch a high price. Head to the depths of the outskirts of Tamsui and you may find one in the wild. Go and search.
