Calicut Adventurer's Guild
It's a bit sudden, but the scholar here is calling on you. Ever since hearing about the Great Tang Records on the Western Regions, he's been very curious about Teajong of Tang. He's been researching lost of things. I imagine he simply wants you to help with his studies, but you'd best confirm with the scholar himself.

Taizong and Wang Xizhi
In stories about him, the name Wang Xianzhi often comes up. Taizong was interested in many things, but it seems he was significantly focused on this individual. I'm interested in him as well. I want you to collect information on Wang Xianzhi in Hangzhou.
Concerning Wang Xizhi
Have you seen the writing they use here? It's very strange. Wang Xianzhi was a talented caligrapher who could write those characters beautifully. Many people still reference his books when learning characters. Even I can tell his style isn't easy to imitate. I'm pretty sure the City Official knows a lot about him.
Master of calligraphy
His books featured beautiful lettering and has been compared to the bible. He established the art of calligraphy and was a significant influence on later generations. Taizong of Tang loved Wang Xizhi's book and collected all of his works. There was a book he especially loved and was buried with after he died.
Work Read at the noble's feast
Do you know about the Noble's Feast? Attendees sit along the water where it flows in gardens, and recite poetry before the wineglass flows past them. The poem that Wang Xianzhi read at that Noble's Feast was extremely loved by Taizong. I'm sure there's a copy of the book at the Archives here.
Book loved by Taizong of Tang
Wang Xianzhi was an excellent calligrapher who left behind books that are as beautiful as the bible. The Tang Emperor Taizong loved his writing and collected almost all of his works. There was one work in particular he loved. There is supposed to be manuscript and fascimiles in the Archives.
