1. Relic found near the Large River
I've heard that many relics have been excavated near the large river that flows through North China and I would like to examine it myself. I want you to gather useful information about that river. In North China there should be many people around Yuntaishan.
It would be most helpful if someone around the river there was knowledgeable of the ancient civilization...

2. An Ancient Civilization?
Your looking in the right area. The cultural relics found near the large river are either from the Longshan or the Yangshou civilization. Pottery from both civilizations can be found and each have their unique characteristics, making them a subject for scholarly study. I think a seafarer would know more about the current events around the river.

3. River of Many Floods
Ah yes, the river. Ships can sail cross it these days.
You couldn't in the past, due to all the flooding. With a river that big and long, once it floods you'd stand no chance. I heard that all the flooding changed the shape of it too..

4. Laoss-coloured Water
True, the river water is muddled with loess so if one were to fail in... just thinking about it frightens me. Still I think it's worth a look. And it's a perfect target for study for an interested party. If you head North up the continent, you should see the mouth of the river. You'll recognize it immediately.
