1. Scholar from the outside
Birds are a creature that make their nests on the tops of trees, right? I've never seen a bird which makes its nest on the ground. Sorry, I don't think I can be of any help.
Hey, hang on a minute. There's a Scholar who lives near here. He came from somewhere else to investigate this area, and I was amazed that he knows more about this area than I do.

2. Owl with chicken legs
Usually when you think of animals that make a hole in the ground and nest, you'd think of moles.
But in this region, there's a strange bird which has this behaviour. At a glance, it looks like a small owl, but when you walk around, you can see that it's long like a chicken and has sturdy legs. And...

3. Owl that lives under the sun
Many owls sleed during the day, but this owl searches for food that is active during the day, so it is like us. It's often seen on the northern continent, but in the plains around here it can be seen in small numbers. If you search around in the plains outside the city gates, you may find them.

4. Angular hole in the road
A road extending to the north from the piled up boulders. On the slopes to the side of the road, there were fist-sized holes. Just about the right size for an arm. According to what I heard in Merida, the possibility is high that I'm searching for a rare bird. The whole that i found looked like an owl could go in and out. There's probably value in looking into it.

5. Investigation on bird that lives in the ground
A bird that nests in a hole in the ground appears to be in the fields southwest of Merida. Casting my gaze down the entire way walking from the pile of boulders on the road extending north, I found a hole that a small creature could enter.
Maybe it's the nest of the bird that I'm looking for? I'll go closes and investigate the inside of the hole.

  An owl with an unusual underground nest. It mainly makes its own nest using a hole burrowed into the ground by other animals. It runs like a chicken with its long legs, and is active during the day, and has many other characteristics not seen in other owls. It is found throughout the grasslands of the New World in South and North America.
