Nimbly moving crab

Portobelo Adventurer's Guild
Hey..., crabs are creatures which walk sideways, right? In the Galapagos Archipelago, there's a crab which moves forward and jumps, according to a Scholar who is requesting biological research.
There are sailors in this town too who've been to the Galapagos Archipelago, so try asking them if they know something.

Ecological Research Scattered on the beach
I've seen that there were lots of crabs on the shore, but I don't remember them doing anything like jumping. Quite the opposite, they seemed to just be motionless on the rocks. The crabs were amazingly bright red, so it left an impression.
Red creatures that live in rocky places
That's similar to something I heard from a customer. There is some kind of red creature which flies from rock to rock. It was interesting, so I remembered it. It's not definite that it's a crab, but there were many on the rocks by the shore. I'm pretty sure he said that after you land on the island, they can soon be seen.
Sometimes walking, sometimes jumping
those crabs crawl and jump around, but they also stay motionless on the rocks. I'll go search the south shore of the Galapagos Islands from the ocean to see if the crabs the Sailor saw are the ones that I was requested to search for.

A totally red crab that is often seen on the beaches of the Galapagos archipelago. It moves unlike regular crabs, jumping from rock to rock and walking forwards. It clings to rocks, feeding on seaweed by cutting it with its claws.
