      Love Story Told in Pictures

      Hangzhou Adventurer's Guild
I heard lots of rumours about you--you've apparently found a lot of fascinating books and art pieces. Thanks to that reputation, a popular Tavern maid has asked for you specifically to help with a request.
Yuki from the Tavern in Sakai wants to see a certain popular story told through pictures. Talk to her directly from more details.

                Readers of tale of Genji
Thanks for coming. When I tried to think of who to request for this job, your face was ll I could see. You read the Tale of Genji here, right? What I want you to look for is a picturized version of that story. I'm counting on you.

                To See the Legend
After I had you read the story last time I sent the manuscript back to the tavern in Nagasaki. I figured I wouldn't need it anymore, but now I want to read the story again. But if I'm going to read it again I'd like to see what Hikaru Genji looked like. Would you look around the city for me?

                Appeal of the Unique Characters
A pictoralized version of Tale of Genji? I'd rather not give it to you. Once I lend that out you'll fall in love with the characters and never give it back. Women especially fall for the lead character of Genji....
Sorry, I can't give it to you. I've learned my lesson well enough.

                Appeal of a Beautiful Painting
A pictoralized version of Tale of Genji? I had just the thing a while ago, but I gave it to some noble-type who likes the classics.
The story itself is pretty good, but the kimonos and the court interiors were really artfully drawn--really top notch.

A Glimpse of the Charm of Court Life
The graphic version of Tale of Genji has been a popular with one of my acquaintance's master lately. The daughter of the master yearns for the old court life described in the story, and is now determined to become a court lady. Though I think her decision is quite reckless, it must be some story if it could affcet her like that.

Relying on the Lender of the Manuscript
Aww, you couldn't find it? The story is already pretty old, but I guess it's still as popular as ever.... I guess there's only one thing left to do--could you go to the tavern in Nagasaki for me? Please ask the person who lended me the manuscript if they don't have a pictoralized version.

                Takatsugu's Treasured Items
H-How did you know I'm a fan of Tale of Genji? I don't remember ever telling you that... Oh well. The item you're looking for can be found at the Shack on the outskirt of town. Why is it stored there? Uh, it's probably best not to ask...

                Picturized Tale of Genji
Takatsugu, the owner of the Tale of Genji manuscript, also has a pictoralized copy of the story. It is being kept in a shack on the outside away from human eyes, possibly due to its highly potent romantic content. You can find the pictoralized version by heading northwest from the outskirts of Nagasaki. Head there and take a look at the story.
