Ignis Fatuus of the Far East

      Hangzhou Adventurer's Guild
Remember that merchant in Nagasaki? The one who is a compatriot of yours? Well we have a request form him. He says he saw something dimly lit in the darkness. He thinks it might be a will-o'-the-wisp. This sounds like it might be a dangerous request! I hope you will be alright!

                      1. Nagasaki: Dubious Merchant
                      2. Nagasaki: City Official near the bank

                      1. Accursed glow
Please listen to me! It's a curse! And all the City Official can say is "Don't be frightened!" And they still can't tell us what that shinning light is. It's cruel!

                      2. Glowing mushroom
Some people have to much imagination. Well I guess he just doesn't know. It's not the fires of hell or some will-o'-the-wisp. It's just a glowing mushroom. The mushroom is not bad to look at, but you mustn't eat it. It's poison.

                      3. Glowing poison mushroom
Apparently, that faint glow comes from a mushroom. But they have forbidden their consumption since it is poisonous. I believe I will go to the outskirts of town and look at it myself.

Poisonous mushroom that grows in dead broad-leaf trees. When accidentally consumed it causes a hallucinogenic symptom of blue vision.
It has been known in Japan as a poisonous mushroom since ancient times and also appears in Anthology of Tales from the Past.
