Ceramics of the Area
The porcelain of this area is said to have been influenced by the Song empire. However, it developed a different beauty than that of the Song and became very popular. Ah, and if I remember right, Cheol-Su of Pohang has some that been handed down in his family for generations.

Origin of the Heirloom
Yes, some of our family treasures are porcelain. One of my ancestors purchased the item to sell, but decided to keep it instead. I believe it is currently on loan to the City Official. I'm not sure what my father was thinking, loaning out a family treasure. But either way, there should be no problem with you viewing it.

Ancient Celadon
Apparently there is a traditional porcelain made in this area. It is of sufficient quality to be thought of as a family treasure. So though I cannot borrow it , I can view it. It is currently on loan to the city official, so I will go and see him about it.

  Its jade-like colours are beautiful. It is considered to be a masterpiece of the area.
