                Islam has also spread here to a great degree. So it's not easy to find an image of Buddha. But if you travel far inland, there's probably some statues that remain intact. Why don't you go to the Buddhist temple you found? If you examine it closely, something might just turn up.

                    One of the Amitabha from Buddhist teachings. The name means "unmoving" or "solid" in Sanskrit. Whether it evolved from that or the reverse, Akshobhya is said to possess a strong and stubborn resolve and fearsome power.
