                    Faith prior the Moai
Oh, the Makemake research...? Well, I told you pretty much everything I know last time when I told you about the Tangata manu, but... Oh yes, I just remembered! It seems as though Makemake is actually a much older object of worship compared to the many large statues found on the island... umm, Moai I think they're called...

                    What is Machirohiba?
So, you seem pretty knowledgeable of Rapa Nui so I'll give you the whole story. You've heard of Machirohiba somewhere before haven't you? Exactly, in the story where the people of Rapa Nui migrated there from the land of Hiva.

                    Ancient god
Haua already knew of the god Makemake, meaning that Makemake is actually the god of Hiva. He was the ancient god worshipped by our ancestors... That's what I think anyway... Anyway, I'll leave it at that for now. Oh yeah, you were looking for some kind of item related to Makemake weren't you?

                    Ana Kai Tangata
The one who became the Tangata manu had the power to designate someone to be sacrificed to Makemake. The place where that sacrifice was made is called Ana Kai Tangata. Ana means cave, kai means eat, and tangata means human or person. Well, I won't say any more than that... Perhaps you can find something related to Makemake there though.

                    Ancient god of Rapa Nui
The person chosen to be the Tangata manu could designate someone to be sacrificed to Makemake. That person was then sacrificed in a cave called Ana Kai Tangata. Perhaps there is something related to Makemake there that I can find. I should focus on searching around the table rock.

Makemake is a god that was worshiped from on Rapa Nui before Moai. Those given the honour of becoming a birdman (Tangata Manu), who are said to be Avatars of Makemake, were given control of the island. This led to Makemake becoming a central religious figure among those worshipped by on Rapa Nui.
