1. 아버지에게 혼났다
정말로 문어 때문에 죽는다고？ 이전에 아버지와 물고기를 잡으러 바다에 갔을 때, 작은 문어가 있어서 잡으려고 했었지. 막대기로 찔러대면 피부에 푸른 고리 모양으로 무늬가 변해서 예뻤었어. 하지만 아버지가 무서운 얼굴로 손대지 마라！ 라고 해서… 저것이 그랬던건가.

2. 파란 원이 떠오르는 문어
페르시아만에서, 독이 있는 문어가 발견되는 것 같다. 자극하면 푸른 고리모양의 무늬를 띤다고 한다. 무스카트의 근해에서 찾아보자.
