1. Husband and wife of sky and land
Myths from around here you say. Ngewe is the heavenly god, who takes the earth as wife. He makes the rain fall. Iheard that in the beggining, he lived alongside humans. If you want to know more then ask the city official.

2. Greedy humans
Ngewo said to people that you can go to him any time, as long as you have hope. But people are constantly selfish. Ngewo disliked this and returned to heaven during the night. He taught people rituals during wich they could commune with him.

3. Myths of Mende
Stories about the god that lived with people and returned to heaven is often heard in those parts. Was it like that in the beginning or has the story been changed? There is a place to land north-west of Sierra Leone.
