        The invisible Pharaoh
        No Expiration
        Tunis Adventurer's Guild
You've heard the name Khufu before, haven't you? He was a pharaoh that built one the giant pyramids that you've explored. But for some reason, they can't find any paintings or sculptures of him anywhere. Can you see if you can find any? Inquire about it at Alexandria.

Investigation of the Pyramids of Giza 1 2 1 Pyramids of Giza

                    1. Place to find a statue
I know of many pieces of ancient Egyptian art, but you're right, I've never heard of a statue of Khufu. Statues of other pharaohs can be found in the temples near the pyramids or somewhere nearby. Perhaps you can borrow a book from the scholar in this town.

                    2. Facilities attached to the pyramids
It is customary for pyramids to have associated buildings, like temples, built near them. The three reat pyramids of Giza, for example, have the Sphinx, upper and lower temples, and other buildings. However, it is not known whether these are associated to one of the three pyramids or to all three at the same time.

                    3. Sculpture inscription
The only way to decipher which pharaoh is represented in a statue is to read its inscription. It is possible that the inscriptions on the statue of Khufu was rewritten by a later king.
If you need to find Khufu's statue, perhaps you should look near Thebes, where many temples concentrate.

                    4. Statue of the Pharaoh
The associated buildings near the pyramids may have been changed by later kins after Khufu.
Perhaps near Thebes, a site of many temples, there may be unedited relics associated with Khufu. I should land near the centre of the Nile and search to the east, near the table rock.
