1. Concerning emperor Hadrianus
I wouldn't claim to be expert in the matter, but... Hadrianus is the third of the Five Good Emperors of ancient Rome. He focused on peace and defence. I don't know where his marble statue is... perhaps the scholar in Genoa would know.

2. A frequently lucky emperor
Hadrianus spent much of his time in reign travelling his vast territory and overseeing his people. Perhaps statues commemorating his visit are all over the place. He must have visited Genoa as well. You should look in my books to find out.

3. Emperor Hadrianus' visit to Genoa
A.V.C. 883, month of Aprilis. Emperor Hadrianus visits Genoa and is pleased with it's development. To honour his great reign, a marble statue of the emperor was built outside of the town. When the statue was completed, the emperor visited Genoa again.

4. Memorial statue on Genoa's outskirts
The ruins to the north of the gate of Genoa used to house the statue of Emperor Hadrianus.
