1. House of Hapsburg
In the House of Aragon during Fernando II, Juan, the price in line for succession died young and ties were made with the House of Hapsburg. The sword could have been taken by the prince's older sister Queen Juana, to the House of Hapsburg when she was wed. The queen's son was His majesty Charles V and the princess was none other than Maria of Antwerp.

2. From the Duke of Alba to the Company House
Durendal was definitely taken by the younger brother. But now, the age of knights and swords is gone. He gave it to the Duke of Alba who in turn passed it on to a famous merchant in The Netherlands. This is however, a tale different to one of cannons and ships.

3. Master's shout
The merchant that received the sword from the Duka of Alba? Do you know how many merchants there are in this city? But there can only be a few that have regular dealings with the Duke, either officially or not. It's probably the wealthy and prominent merchant by the name of Bickel.

4. Persian rug
Durandal? Ah, the sword that was received from the Duka of Alba. Don't know if it is genuine, but it is the sword that Roland loved. What's that? Huh? You come empty handed expecting to acquire something? Bringing me 5 Persian carpets would be the done thing.

5. Location of the sword
Hey, you brought 5 Persian carpets, amazing. The sword known as Durandal was given to the church. It is beautifully ornamented but I'm not really intro antiques. If you want it, have a word with the vicar and he may let you have it.

6. Where is the sword
The sword that Rolan loved? Was theresuch a tale, i'm not sure. Didn't he died clutching his sword? The storeroom is off the passage behind the altar. I'm busy right now, but feel free to take a look yourself.

7. Durandal
The Durandal taken from the House of Aragon to the House of Hapsburg may have been modified, but it now rest safely in a church in Amsterdam. Go and fin it in the storeroom behind the altar.

Durandal ★★★★ (Historical legacy) Exp:756 Fame:290
A fabled sword, decorated with crystal, thought to have been a favourite of the sacred knight Roland. They say the blade can split rock. It has passed through many hands and was finally discovered enshrined in a church in Amsterdam.
Nope.
