That which should not be on land

Marseille Adventurer's Guild
This story is a little creepy, but shark bones that had turned to stone were found in Africa.
Apparently, they've caused quite a stir.
Not to mention, their size was extraordinary... Well, could you investigate this?
They're supposed to have been discovered near Abidjan. Why not ask around at a tavern?

1. Far larger than a normal shark
Well, you're a sailor as well so you should know the rough size of a shark, yeah. They say a shark's tooth twice the regular size was found round the land here.
Become stone, too, it had.
Walking sharks, now it is?
The old guy in town, runs a shop, he found one they say. Ask him.

2. Impossibly large
On the way back from stocking, whilst crossing the west of town, this strange rock was protruding from this collapsed area. Taking it and looking at, well, has to be a shark's tooth, I thought. Some dent in the shape of the shark's body, but 15 meters is was, and that's no lie! Surely some kind of black magic at work...

3. Remains
At the disembarkment point west of Abidjan, seems a shark's tooth was found. Check the area with all the mammal bones.
Now, why would shark bones be found on land? Perhaps someone killed a shark and then carried it there?...

The Bones of a Giant Shark ★★ (Fossil) Exp:230 Fame:100
The skeleton of a large shark, easily over 10m. The teeth can clearly be seen, but other than that, there are only traces because shark's bone is soft. More importantly, why were the bones of such a huge shark discovered on land...?
