Statue of the Moon Goddess
No Expiration
Amsterdam Adventurer's Guild
There's a story that a statue of the Greek goddess of the moon and archery, Artemis, was seen in the outskirts of Athens. If you can find it, it would be quite the treasure. But just saying 'the outskirts of Athens' is pretty vague information.
First, why not try to get more information from the scholar in Athens?

Tusks of a Giant Boar 1. Ancient stadium
I've heard that, as goddess of archery and the hunt, Artemis was fervently worshipped by warriors. Examples of this were apparently found at ancient hippodromes.
I have records concerning hippodromes in my private collections as well. If interested, would you like to have a look at it?
2. Stadium construction record
...To the Athenian hippodrome prayers were offered blessing the pantheon, statues of many gods were sent from all over Greece, and dedicated to the colonnaded temple.
The grandness of this spectacle was beyond description; the temple and the hippodrome received the blessings of the gods on Olympus, and beseeching that they should be forever wrapped in light...
3. Divine statue of Artemis
Records remain to the effect that idols of Artemis, goddess of the moon, were offered to the temple lined with stone columns at the ruins of Olympia situated west of Athens.
It is possible that some idols still holding their shape remain. Locate the vestiges of the colonnaded temple and conduct a search.

A statue of the Greek goddess Artemis, Apollo's twin sister. Known in Roman mythology as Diana. Artemis was the goddess of hunting and animals, childbirth, and abundant harvests. She is often merged with Selene, goddess of the moon.
