1. 새의 모습을 보기는 어렵다
작은 새 때문에 일부러 유럽에서 왔다고？ 매우 흥미가 있나보군. 도와주고 싶지만 재미있는 새라는 것만으로는 알 수가 없지. 그리고 무성한 나무속에 새가 앉아 있어도 소리만 나지 잘 알 수가 없거든. 젊은 사람이라면 눈이 좋으니까 알고 있을지도 모르겠군.

2. 특정 시기에만 꼬리가 길어지는 새
신기한지는 잘 모르겠지만 일정 시기에만 꼬리가 길어지는 새라면 알고 있다네. 여기에서 남쪽으로 가면 카보베르데가 있는 섬이 있어. 거기에서 더 남쪽으로 가면 상륙할 수 있는 곳이 있는데 그 주변에서 잘 발견돼요. 주둥이가 빨개서 발견하기 쉬울 거예요.

3. 주둥이가 빨간 작은 새
일정 시기에만 꼬리가 길어진다는 것은 번식기이겠지. 여기에서 해안을 따라 남쪽으로 가면 그 작은 새가 있는 장소에 상륙할 수 있는 모양이다. 북쪽의 뒤집힌 바위 부근에서 찾아보자.
