                          The Portuguese arms traders are heading north from Arguin along the coast through the Canary Bay. If i head to the north, i should be able to find them. They're going to need serious protection, so i need to prepare appropriately.

                              Will this quest force you to go pirate? So do you attack actual portuguese ships and get a orange/red name?

                              There are three exceptions about the PvE VS flagged fleets:

                              1) When you're the defender instead the attacker (happens only by Ottoman Navy/Privateers).
                              2) During the Storylines/Quests that they occur (you're often the defender).
                              3) Epic Sea Feud to gain merit of wars and victory points.

                              Under these circumstances it won't result any penalty for your fame or nation relationship.
