                      Athens Maritime Guild
                      We've just recieved word from one of the guild's patrols that a group of privateers is travelling north from the Bay of Biscay! The navy has gone out to engage their main force, but several smaller groups of ships have split off and are continueing north towards our city. We need you to go and destroy them within 30 days. Go and find out more at the Calais port office.

                                    You're from the Maritime Guild, right? A group of privateers is heading north from the Bay of Biscay to the Bretagne Peninsula. I need you to take care of them in the next 30 days.
                                    If things keep going like this, it's gonna spell trouble for the North Sea!
                                    Take them out and the whole world will sing your praises.

                                        i have never had caution interfere with a quest fleet, i've even been in a boat with high lookout and had no issues generating the fleets, the only time ive had problems is when i wasn't in the right spot to spawn them.

                                        Easy quest - as stated sail south from plymouth, once you change water you will see a small fleet of two

                                        I got it from London. I ran without caution on the entire time, from both points south of Plymouth, inbetween, from there I zig zagged east and west all the way north back to Plymouth, then North south from the end of the pens West of Plymouth past Antwerp. So either the locations are wrong or there's a major glitch. Either way I'm pissed.

                                        Sailing directly south from Plymouth works. You other guys must have forgotten to talk to the port official in Calais. I do that a lot with the adventure variants of these types of quest. I always wind up not talking to the Adventure GM and then remembering to do it as I'm pulling into my destination. :P

                                        For those doing the Naples version, the quest information is misleading. It says they would be sailing north from Sardinia, south of Calvi, but I'm actually encountering them (two times now) on the west coast of Sardinia, south of Sassari.

                                        So my advise would be not to waste time patrolling between Sardinia and Corsica.

                                        Why do these all list Bay of Biscay? The Naples version involves Privateer Ship Fleet sailing north from Sardinia (after talking with Port Official in Calvi).

                                        Hmm, probably an oversight - this quest looks like the beginner adventure/merchant card quests in that it comes from multiple sources but goes to different places based on point of origin. But when this quest entry was made, it must have only shown the Bay of Biscay by mistake.
