      Calicut Adventurer's Guild
Hey, you investigated about a peacock before, haven't you? It must have looked beautiful with its feathers spread out.
Now, I would like you to search for a bird that looks similar to the peacock. The client is a man named Mr. Kjarat of this town. It looks like you've finished your preparations, so I think you should ask him

                      Even more beautiful birds
Oh, it's you! Yes, you are just the right person for the job.
People may call me a libertine, but the peacock simply is not enough... I would like to have other beautiful birds. However, finding a bird with feathers more beautiful than the peacock will be the difficult...

                      Bird like a peacock
So I thought, yes, let's find a bird similar to a peacock, with different coloured feathers. That would probably feel different, yet would still be beautiful. I heard that such a bird exists in a peninsula east of Ceylon. Please find this bird, and hopefully gather some knowledge on how to care for it.

                      What is a peacock
Similar to a peacock? What's a peacock? Here, have some tea, and tell me about this peacock bird. Can I order some tea for myself as well? A dry throat never speaks fast enough.

                      Brown coloured and ash coloured
... Hmm, I see, green feathers, spread out like a fan, about 2m...
Yes I do know of a similar bird. Its feathers aren't green, though. A resident here saw it in the forest, why don't you ask around?

                      An easy to keep bird
You want to raise a bird, but you're not going to eat it? That's odd. But I guess this bird is just the right one for that. The feathers have these beautiful eye-shaped patterns, and they get along with people well. It eats almost anything and keeping them in a pair is easy because couples get along well. Err, I guess now it's obvious that I have a pet bird...

                      Rearing Place
                      Please keep it a secret!
I don't make enough money to afford a pet, so if my wife finds out, she'll cook them for supper.
I'll tell you where they are, in exchange for your cooperation.
It's near the large rock on the southern coast of the island to the south.

                      Investigation of the peacock-like bird
The peacock-like bird that Mr. Gujarat was looking for is being kept on an island south of Malacca, near a large rock on the southern coast.

This bird is used to people, and is easy to rear. Males and females are very friendly. Males raise and swing their long tail wings to interest females. It is captivating to watch them.
