1. Maneater
It is my duty to protect seafarers. There is nothing more reassuring than having a voyager such as yourself to help with the investigation. Let's start collecting information at Naples which is near the location in question. Once you're neaar completing your investigation, I'll send my subordinate, Gil, to the location.

2a. Danger of Familiarity
I can't forget even if I wanted to. 'Although whirlpools often appear in those areas, sailing while avoiding whirlpools is child's play for those who are used to it.' The person who said that was swallowed by a whirlpool and is gone to Davy Jones's Locker.

2b. Accident with Unknown Cause
I was there when it happened. There was something weird with that whirlpool. Even though I said we should be careful and observe for a little bit longer... I'm not sure whether he was in a hurry, or did he just ignore my warning, but he proceeded anyway. However... I was sure that he had taken plenty of distance away from the shirlpool, but somehow he was still swallowed by it. I still don't understand how that happened.

3. Withhin the Whirlpool
Hey Captain! You said it yourself when you were drinking last time. From within the whirlpool, you saw something that resembled a tentacle. I didn't ask more about it last time since you looked lik you had one too many drinks, but shouldn't you talk about it now?

4a. Sudden Headache
...? Huh? I said something like that? Hmm... Now that I you've said it, I think I do recall seeing something like tha... Ugh! My head suddenly hurts and I feel like throwing up...

4b. Listen to the Scholar
Ugh... No need to worry. Ever since that day, this happens quite often. Sorry, but do you mind talking to the Scholar for more information? I've already reported in regards to what I saw, and there are multiple incidents similar to mine which should have already been reported back to the Scholar.

5a. Strange Symptoms
Sudden headaches when recalling the incident? Although it's quite strange, everyone who has seen that whirlpool has been suffering from the same symptoms. A headache occurring the moment a tentacle coming from within the whirlpool is discussed... It's almost as if their mind is refusing to recall a demonic existence that they have witnessed...

5b. Legend
There's a folklore regarding a monster called Charybdis which dwells in the strait just east of Syracuse. Perhaps that was the creature that they saw...? No... I do not think that such a monster would exist. However, if it were to actually exist, it would explain the series of mysterious incidents that have happened...

6. Gil's Story
It seemed that Henrique's subordinate, Gil, is quite skeptical in regards to the stories of a monster with tentacles from within a whirlpool. It seems that he wasn't able to witness anything strange from within the whirlpool that had appeared...

Something within the Whirlpool
YOu've investigated regarding a strange whirlpool called 'maneater' which appears at the strait of Messina, just east of Syracuse. Though unsure you think that you might have saw something unusual from within the whirlpool... ...For some strange reason, your memory is hazy and you cannot remember clearly. The same goes for Gil as well... For the time being, let's put together a report based on what can be recalled.
