      The Creature That Flies Over the Sea Surface

      The sailor from Acapulco told me that he'd seen creatures that would jump out of the surface of the water and dive back in. However, he claimed that they weren't birds. I wonder if that's really true... We've received a request sent into the guild asking for someone to investigate those creatures. As a start, it might be a good idea to speak with that sailor.

          1. Seen Near the Seas of Guam
          I saw that while navigating near the seas of Guam. Several of them appeared out of the surface of the ocean and fled somewhere far away. Perhaps the shadow of the ship scared them off. Speak with the Port Official in Guam, he might know a bit more about them.


          2. In the Southern Seas of Guam
          From what I recalled, I've heard of stories where fishermen would try to catch these creatures with a net, but they would fly to the sky and escape. He would often fish in the seas south from here. If you search there, perhaps you will find the creatures you are looking for.


          3. Prey Which Escapes From the Net
          According to what the sailor from Acapulco had seen, the way the creature flew was not in any way like a bird, and it was spotted near Guam. According to Guam's Port Official, there is a prey which can escape from the nets of fisherman by flying. This fisherman generally fishes in the south. Let's try heading there.

              A type of squid which lives in the warmer areas of the sea. When attacked or scared, it spreads its legs like wings, and it blows sea water from its funnels and flies upward. It's said that the distance it can fly is over 50m.
