                  I don't know the battle fame requirements for this quest, but I do have a thought: a lot of job quests have turned up lately even if you lack the skills listed as "required". Could this quest also show up, even for players lacking the Ballistics and Accuracy skill levels? If so... could the quest be completed without them, or would you need those levels during the talking points?

                  Sorry to answer your question with more questions. I'd think 50k minimum would be enough to unlock it, but the requirements could be much, much lower. I couldn't find anything on the usual Japanese wikis, but if somebody else has an idea, feel free to post -- hope you get the quest/job soon either way. Cheers.

                  Yes, that's the tried and true method, and how I got this job a few years ago (thanks Raythe, wherever you are). I was just wondering if this job quest is like many others now, showing up if you have the right amount of fame, but not the right level of skills. That would make it easier to pull.

                  As to completing it without the required skills, that depends entirely on whether or not the quest allows it or not, but being able to pull the quest without them would still be pretty convenient, since you could then hold onto it until a friend or company mate helps you finish the quest.

                  I'd test it out myself, but I'm not really able to play much these days, I'm afraid.

                  Using a Letter of Appreciation from Seafarers item and selecting its Endorsement Reward option, this job card can apparently be obtained from a Spanish fleet (admiral name is Franco Thanude; fleet consists of three Battle Galleons) in the Antilles Open Sea zone. Franco's fleet departs from Santo Domingo; another Spanish fleet in the San Juan Open Sea can also give this card (admiral name is "Jorge Albacete" according to Google Translate). Other NPC fleets in the world may also gift this card.

                  Not a bad alternative to have available in case you have trouble finding someone to pull the quest for you. Cheers.
