I am currently working on getting Ambon to attain Central Capital status, Culure level is 42k+ atm, Trade is 25k, and Maritime is 30k. Is there anything I need to know regarding which items besides RIB's, QMP's and Seals(Sylph, Gnome etc>) to give to the Shop Keeper, and anything I need to know regarding what type of ships to donate to the Shipyard Master? The Shipyard Master wouldn't accept a 1/5 High Clipper I had built by an r20 SB just for the purpose of giving it to him. Does a ship that is donated have to be modded at least once with SSIP to be acceptable for donation? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Shopkeeper also accepts Soma (you can buy them in Coliseum).

Thank-you, very helpful. And Soma is cheap too, very nice.

40k development is needed in the 3 areas of Culture, Trade and Maritime development for a city like Ambon or Lima to achieve Central Capital status.

Wow, thanks for all the useful information Stinker, hopefully if we all make a bit of an effort we can get Ambon to achieve Central Capital status.

Stinker, thank you very much for sharing info on ogplanet forum. I think it would be great to re post it here.

Excuse me , what are the advantages of turning Ambon in central capital?, i'd like to help.

5 extra maps will be available at Archives when Ambon is central capital.

There's always advantages to Central Capital, and not just in Ambon. I remember trying to order a ship that could be made in Ternate once, but its dev was too low. And of course, there's always Lima and its church dungeon's availability, too.
This is very good info, so thanks indeed to Stinker (I seldom if ever visit official forums, glad to see stuff posted here). I'll pitch in towards Ambon next time I'm out there.

oops! I deleted the old post. What I was going to say what that there are also other benefits with further developing Ambon (and Ternate) such as trade goods. Here we go again:
Consumables or ships aren't worth delivering in my opinion. Good items (points per effort or cost) for Ambon are the following:
Commerce
jewelled turbans
yellow and red gem books (about 5 times as many points as turbans)
clothier and harlequin books (about 3 times as many points as gem books)
Armament
large extra spankers
silver-plated armours (about 5 times as many points as spankers)
Culture
Danu figureheads
