ok im just inside dungeon entrance looking at wall but cant get the discovery what am i missing

If you're talking about the Egyptian Peace Talks discovery from the "War for domination" quest, you need to have Search skill at Rank 6 to Rank 8, Archaeology at Rank 10 or higher, and you need to use Search at a very specific location.

The Observe skill, or Perception of Artisan items sold in nearby Venice, cause a glowing gold pillar to show up and reveal a discovery's location, if you're in the right place to find it, that is.

If you meant any of the discoveries inside the Karnak and Luxor dungeon, then it's a different story.
