Roland is correct. Historical events run for 1 week which is when players can earn rewards. This event ran from 10/27-11/3; its influence will be in effect from 11/3-11/17. The winning Emperor (Charles V in this case) will be in office longer based on the amount invested, unless another Election HE triggers.
