It requires two/three seconds before the Tech will be used.
With advanture job this Tech needs only one second till it activates.

Effect:
Aside from damage, your target(s) will be paralyzed for 10 seconds approx. Attacking the enemy while he is paralyzed will shorten the duration. Higher Trap prolongs the "Paralyze" -effect.

I've learned this from Campeche thieves lv39 npc at Gulf of Mexico Southwest coast after he used this Tech against me.
