If you don't know, why post? Of course we'll figure it out in a few days, but take the 26/30/-1 sails that can be obtained. If this is repeatable I wouldn't want to spend NC on them would I? If it's not repeatable maybe it's something I want to go ahead and get a few of. No reason to be a smart-alec about something you don't know about.

@ Junchul: All the info I've read on these indicate a one time thing. It'll be interesting to see if we rediscover things belonging in the various Memorial Albums that we've already discovered though. E.G. I've already discovered all the fish in the amazon and I wonder if those aren't so much a discovery but taking the fish themselves to the appropriate npc

Number 77 is delphin storm sail instead of shipbuilding book. you have to make, discover, or buy from npc for it to count. Buying them from a player won't do it. Basically the game has to generate a new instance of one for you to get credit for it. And you don't turn the items in, you just report the album once it is complete.

well, the sewing recipes need "felt", a fabric trade good which currently is available through plunder in the Northern Passage only (will appear in Sankt Petersburg market, when a certain level of development- hopefully not 70k :S- is reached). On the other hand, I did craft a pair of Russian Boots, but no collection was opened :/. however, is certain that a 4th collection IS available: the one including the V5 Manuals that give +10 feint/power/quick/trap specialization (also there is one more item in this one, which I haven't identified yet). Also at least 2 more collections are rumored to exist, involving findings in shipwrecks from Northern Passage and North America & Canada Waters. And finally, we are yet to discover if the recipes for the Clothes worn by Personlities will be made available.

In the Memorial Album section, that's true. But other parts of the DB have been added to over the past 2 years; Treasure Hunt quests, 2nd Age equipment, and the like, for example, used to be 'xxx' styled names. I can't help but think that the DB would update itself even faster, if players could help add more information besides quest guides and comments.

NP. For the new Exquisite Sweets of the World album, these items are sold by tavern/rest house clerks in the following towns/world zones:

Honey Pancake: Tunis, Alexandria and Istanbul (East Mediterranean)
Galette and Fondant mille crepes: Lisbon (Lisbon, Open Sea)
Zenzai: Sakai (Eastern East Asia)
Yaksik: Hanyang (Eastern East Asia)
Sweet Potato Congee: Anping (Eastern East Asia)
Fried Sesame Balls: Hangzhou (Western East Asia)
Che: Jakarta (Java Sea)

However, Macaron and Almond Sherbet can only be produced at Pisa->Florence, with sufficient cooking contribution points. (Still haven't visited to confirm Macaron's necessary points value.)

Edited update information: New memorial albums related to St. Petersburg, Xanadu and Port Royal can be found in-game as of Chapter 2: Astronomy's release. For Russia, you will need Adept of Ages (18th Century-P.3); note that only the following three recipes count for the new album, "Russian Clothing Culture". None of the others count for the memorial album, so don't bother wasting ingredients on them unless you wanted the gear they produced.

Thanks also to Destry for information on the two sewing recipes. Since Felt is still not available at St. Petersburg (only 61k development), Arctic sea shipwrecks or company shops (where Felt is sometimes found for fairly high prices) are your only option for Felt at the moment.


Xanadu's recipes can be accessed from Aide Production with the Adept of Ages (14th Century) title equipped; no trip to East Asia necessary to produce the items, thankfully. Lacking that title, I'll leave it up to someone else more knowledgeable in that field than I to report the recipes (3 needed for the album).


Port Royal's recipes seem to only be found inside of Port Royal (1m entry fee to non-pirates) with the Adept of Ages (17th Century-P.4) title equipped. 3 items needed for this album as well, all of them requiring notoriety to equip:

What do you mean? There are three new clothing-related MAs in all, one for each new location in the game (Xanadu, Port Royal, St. Petersburg), and each MA needs two Sewing items, one Handi item. Apart from Xanadu's MA items (which can be accessed at Xanadu proper or from Quarters' Aide Production, both with 14th Century time title equipped), the ranks and ingredients are listed above.

From what I have seen another factor besides levels that impacts how high level of a recipe an aide can do is if they have the skill. I have Victor (+1 casting) and at high levels and he can do casting recipes up to 15. So I suspect if you have an aide with sewing and get them to a sufficient level they would be able to get to that rank 12 recipe.

So that's the trick! I confirmed it with another aide who has less levels and stats, but a +1 to Cooking and Storage. Under the recipes list, the aide had an extra five levels of skill. Thanks for the answer!

Yeah, for me too. On the bright side, the recipes are also present in Xanadu, so for the Album reward (apparently a +2 Livestock Trading/Sniping/Trap accessory, no effect) you just need to be able to visit Xanadu in person. ... and also have Sewing/Handi skills at the right levels, plus the ingredients, naturally.

Then I humbly apologize for giving you bad information, and sending you out there for no reason. I apparently read the translation wrong:

That is one of the MA items, but I mistakenly read the recipe as coming from a Xanadu NPC (Shopkeeper) when it appears the non-MA version of the outfit is sold there with the title. So, unless new information is discovered, it looks like the Xanadu MA is impossible to complete unless you have reserve aides with appropriate +1 skill boosts. (Not really logical to me since, by unlocking Xanadu, which is a lot harder than St.P and PR, you really ought to have free access to the recipes there too.)

Unfortunately, I see some other sewing/handi/casting equipment recipes in the future from Aide Production which will have 10+ requirements to make them as well... hopefully they won't be MA related as well.

I believe so. The same site I linked has a list of all recipes in UWO, including those not yet released on GAMA; if you click on the "Home Production sewing lines" link, it takes you to a table of sewing items produced via Quarters/Aide Production, most of which I recognize from Aide Production.

Recipes listed on that site also show where and how they are available, which is why I currently think it's impossible to access the Xanadu recipes via Xanadu NPCs, and only through Quarters Production via Aides. Would love to be proven wrong, though...

Almond Sherbet recipe is listed on UWO DB's Florence production page as a randomly available recipe from Lorenzo. Macarons, that's a bit harder to pin down. Could be you need to hit a certain amount of total accumulated Florentine points (in any category) before the recipe appears. I checked a list of Florence recipe on a JP wiki, but it sadly said the conditions for the Macaron recipe appearing are 'unknown'.

Concerning the Gold Lover MA's remaining unlisted items, I believe they are called "Sheriff Court", "Felt Hat", "Western Dress", and "Western Bonnet", or something very similar to that. The items in question, and in that order:

Sheriff's Coat Caution +1, Sociability +1, 18000 points to purchase
Fedora Hat Storage +2, 14000 points to purchase
Western Dress Sociability +1, Appraisal +1, female-only, 18000 points to purchase

While working on the Pacific Dishes MA, I discovered there's now a MA for Oceania specialty trade goods like Kangaroo Meat. I ain't filled it out yet, so no idea what the reward's stats are right now! And, eh... it looks like the Pacific Speciality Dishes album reward is actually +1 Seasoning trading, not +2. The screenshot from that blog shows only a single +2 skill boost.

Just wondering, but has the newest TH relic MA been added yet? The one that'll include entries from Chapter 4: Ancient Glory (coming soon to a GAMA server near us), as well as some other TH themes already in the game (19th Century title ones)? I'd check myself, but there are... extenuating circumstances. I'm also trying to figure out if there's a formula to when MAs are added to the game proper. Thanks in advance.

That TH album was not implemented with Chapter 3, I wouldn't know about the mini update, but I think it will come with the next update (ch4).
The 19th century TH is in the game, it's called Bizarre Rumours and has 2 relics.
The other treasure hunt (C17P4) that adds to that album is also in the game, called Legendary honourable thief and pirate.

To successfully fill out an album, one must:

Craft the item personally using a recipe book and corresponding skill, such as Casting
Purchase it from an NPC run item shop or trade market
Acquire the item by plundering an NPC ship or landing point or dungeon enemy
Fish/Collect/Procure the target trade good at sea or in a landing point
Obtain the desired item via an item box like those received from beginner school, or from opening a dungeon treasure chest, or a shipwreck treasure chest
Perform a Nanban Exchange

Player exchanges, purchasing from player and aide bazaars or company shops, plundering players' trade goods as a pirate, and Sailor Bottle drops or Astro Shop purchases, do not register any entries in a Memorial Album. Sometimes there are special items like New Year Boxes that randomly drop some Album items, but the surest way to fill out an album, is follow the steps listed above.

Note that King Salmon, a new-ish discovery/"Cold Sea Fish" MA entry/rare fish trade good that's seemingly unique to the West Bering Sea (near 8007,2410; that red circle on the map, in fact) is required to finish the cooking MA. With both Oxford Field Activities active and R11 Fishing, a friend caught x4 on their first try. Conversely, I caught x1 without any Oxford skills. Guess that makes the King Salmon the Arapaima of the Northwest Pacific?

Although, the Salmon Dishes MA reward doesn't seem all that special, given the hoops one has to jump through to collect it. Female-only head slot item, Persuasion +2, Caution +1, Art Trading +1...

Basically, you take the above equipment from "Force of Orichalcum" MA and transform them into EX equipment. Unfortunately, since they made that part into a astros only feature on GAMA, only astros buyers would be able to complete this one. And it's not cheap either. By my calculations, you would need to spend about $80-90 on astros to buy those Special Purchase bonds to make all 7 of them into EX equipment, and that's providing you don't get really unlucky and get a lot of fails.

If you can manage to complete "Hidden Value of Orichalcum" MA (my hats off to anyone that can afford to spend that much), your reward is the Nigredo Boots that gives +1 to Metal Trading but has the R10 effect of Reduction of disaster occurrence rate.

A record of treasures hidden in the dungeon of the Temple of Poseidon.

The MA items are rarely found in treasure chests of "Hidden room (small room)", hidden passage rooms located in the Acropolis of Atlantis endless dungeon, Temple of Poseidon (memos call these rooms "something flashed at the end"). Note: if you (solo dungeon runner) or your party's expedition leader has the TH theme "Between Myth and Reality" active, it changes the Temple dungeon's chest drops, and seems to remove the MA items from the possible loot table.

For those planning to do the MA, do note for convenience sake that sablefish, smelt and Alaska pollack can all be caught at the coordinates for the King Salmon, in addition to their respective coordinates.

I may be wrong for this, but for those catching the King Salmon to make the cooking recipe, it would be safe to spend the extra time to catch a few instead of just one. For me, halfway back to Europe a fire broke out (in the subzero Siberian seas heh) that devoured nothing but my sole King Salmon despite me having plenty of other fish types in large numbers.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that happened. I agree with catching extras, it's what I did while I was out there. In fact, making the King Salmon into the R13 cooking recipe only calls for x1 of King Salmon, Salt, and Lumber each, so MA completionists could consider importing the other ingredients out to where the King Salmon is caught at, and turn it into vigor food quickly that way.

Also, looks like another MA fish cooking item is produced nearby in San Francisco with 19th Century title at the bar... but I'll add that info under the King salmon page.

Rest restore all allies damaged in land battle. (Seems to be a better version of Assorted Secret Elixirs. I haven't tested its HP restoration yet, but plan to.)


All of these items are plundered/dropped from the super boss squads of "????" (large statue enemies enveloped in differently colored auras), but not all statue squads' loot tables are alike. According to J-Wiki:


Bowl of Hygieia -- Dropped by ???? found on dungeon floors 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.
Kairos' Talisman -- Dropped by ???? found on dungeon floors 40, 50, and any 10th floors beyond 50 (60, 70, etc.), and the rare black-aura ???? who only appear in hidden passages (passage entrance can happen on any floor).
Godly Bracelet -- Dropped by ???? found on 10th dungeon floors beyond 50 (60, 70, etc.), and the rare black-aura ???? who only appear in hidden passages (passage entrance can happen on any floor).


The statues do not always show up on every 10th floor, and even when you beat them, they are not guaranteed to drop the items for the MA. Also, survival against them is quite difficult, if not impossible, without proper tactics/EQ; they seem to have slight ranged attack skills, and can bypass total evasion conferred by items such as Eagle's wings.

There are some gameplay videos on YouTube showing some good strategies, I think. I personally rely on an Original tech ( Swift L1 trade/merchant tech learned from Merchandise Knowledge, if used as base for an original tech, seems to grant a total evasion effect that isn't so easily bypassed/negated) and poison traps to reduce their HP and win over time. However you do it, when you complete the album, the reward is:

Staff of Light (from El Greco in Seville)
100 Durability
40 Formality
60 Attack
+2 Sword Mastery
+2 Trap
+1 Tactics
15k fame to equip, club/staff-type weapon

Note: Unless something changes for GAMA, Atlantis will disappear when the Age of Revolution's first chapter launches, and since the Atlantis dungeon cannot be accessed with ESBT, this album cannot be completed unless Atlantis reappears, which in Japanese servers at least, has only happened once, for a single month. I can confirm that we do indeed have that new MA (it's called Peaceful Tunes) and the MA reward is called "Hornpipe of Origin". Im a bit unsure if the MA reward will be the same considering how different the name is from it's Japanese origin, but it's unlikely.

And Kossmynn, you can use search at the church in Famagusta to get another Ebony violin. Cant say what rank is needed to get it though since I have R15 search already. :)

Gastraphetes Crossbow (quest reward from London Merchant quest -- deliver x1 Light Crossbow from Manchester's item shop to Athens' Craftsman)

Crossbow #4 requires having completed Recalled Words -- this unlocks a quest from Jakarta that rewards the fourth and final crossbow. However, this quest won't be in the game until around June or so, at the earliest.

This "Fundamentals of Technology Development" quest in Amsterdam is a weird one, in that it lists dutch and german languages as required but then you don't have to talk to anybody, it's all just a very easy naval battle.

Yes, but with some restrictions.

1. The city you want to produce them at must be in Industrial Revolution "Boom" status (Manchester always is).
2. Some level of development is apparently required. I know English players have had no problem seeing those recipes appear at their Blast Furnace, but a Venetian reportedly didn't see those recipes at Cattaro. Investment in the city may also play a role, though I currently don't believe it does.

Personally, I made my revolver/crossbow at Manchester for MA entry status when they first appeared, and its development is just about to hit max at 85k. The benefit of being able to produce them at your country's IR city (if possible) is having relaxed skill requirements, and being able to substitute some (though not all) of the ingredients for a certain fee. Hope this helps... maybe others more knowledgeable than I would be willing to chime in.

If you had bothered to look at a map you would see that Cattaro is nearly development capped as well. Recipe appearances seem random but based partly on city status, which updates every few days. Right now Cattaro has most recipes in the game for national Industrial cities, but it also had them during its very first revolution. So luck seems more to blame than investment or development.

Only helps to look at a map if you've charted the region a city's in, which I've not. Cattaro's development was only 56k a day or two before I posted, quite far from the 85k max. New MA: Proof of Regional Contribution
A record of the regional contributions made during Aide Fleet activities.
It has 8 slots. To fill the album out, you must be part of a Company that participates in Aide fleet; an R10 Handicrafts recipe for 8 Rings, tied to 8 sea regions where an Aide Fleet can conduct its activities will be available at the end of that month's Aide Fleet period. But... only one ring recipe will appear per month, so you can't make them all in one go.

There's probably more to it than that, but I'm sure a guide will appear elsewhere (the UWO wiki, perhaps?) in time. Or somebody could post the info here too, I suppose. In any case, the MA Reward:

Note that crafting recipe from both North America and East Asia give a Custom Golden Ring, but the MA sees them as separate entries. It takes at least 8 months to complete this MA, and that is only if your company gets different regions each month.

Lambell's Immigrant Quest comes from Western Europe (Lisbon, Seville, Marseille, Genoa, Tunis) Company Admins. I forgot the name of the quest already, but it's something about a stubborn official (and is he ever). When he feels like showing up, it's always by the Port Official.

Norman - Immigrant Quest comes from Northern Europe (London, Amsterdam) Company Admins: "A Talkative Pastor". When he appears in your colony near the Port Official, he sells Purchase Request Ticket (No.6), an MA item for the Immigrant Attraction (No.1) Album, for 500,000 ducats.

By the way... all six of these MA item selling NPCs seem to show up at the Port Official/Departure Station area with their tickets. I mention that as there are other NPCs who can immigrate to your colony with cool items/production recipes, some of them MA entries, but only if you have the right building for them to show up at.

When I opened the No.4 and No.6 tickets in that order, I got equipment layering tools x1, and Fish and Chips x21. Contents are listed for each ticket on the JP wiki, but I imagine most of the high-end drops were changed for GAMA; doesn't matter, though. The MA reward, Immigrant's Boots, has the following stats:

20 Defense
Food trading +2
Seasoning trading +1
5k fame to equip

MA: Rare Items Travelled by Train

Eight slots. Four of the items are randomly dropped from Mysterious Bonanza Boxes sold at certain intervals on the railroad; others only appear as sewing/handicrafts recipes during special railroad events.

Guardian's Hat -- +1 Accounts/Weapons trading Hat; 8k fame required to equip it. Comes a bit rarely from the Mysterious Bonanza Box (No.3) sold by the Travelling Merchant in Omaha (who only appears once a month, I'm told; 7/30 was his day for July) for 1m a piece.
