Antinous
Mourning the death of his aide, Antinous, the Roman emperor, Hadrian, had established a constellation using a star on the south side of Aquila. There are records of this in the 'Almagest'. As it is neighbouring Aquila, it is often confused with Ganymede from Greek mythology.
