  • Tassili n'Ajjer
    A plateau mountain range in the middle of the Sahara. The impressive rock formations were formed by erosion. There are some rocks in caves with drawings of herds of cattle and crocodiles. It's thought that the drawings show the appearance of the environment long ago, but it's hard to believe that when it's now a desert.
