I discovered it with a 6 or 8 piece map, dont remember exactily. I dont even have recognition skill ( a friend helped me rise it). So, based on my case and the other information above, it's totally random...

I don't think so. I seem to remember one of the times I did this chain that I had the disco unreported long after getting the job... But if it takes way too many QMPs, you could try reporting it. Neither quest has been hard for me to pull in the past.

if it requires r5 recognition , near cuba , it is this sw , also its pre requirement for salvager job , so i suggest u should get salvage r3+2 and go get that job :P

34th wreck, an astrolabe, an A astrolabe, a traveller's and scholar's amulet and no mobs. Strange thing is that i got the Pinzon sw immediately after, as opposed to the commenter above XD
