if you using a galley as a cannon ship then you really need to review your concepts, galleys have huge disadvantages on cannon fights due to its low armour, as for this ship it have huge armour compared to other galleys so it can survive better some more cannon shots and grab enemy on melle, not counting the better accel given by this extra armour that with rowing can give this ship awesome ability to grab out enemies coming out of ports, another thing you must consider is that 16gate cannons is out, so 4 slots with 16 canons can almost shot as good as the old 5 slots with 14 gate cannons and as for ship dura havent followed this advance on canon power now the tendence is ships going for more armour than dura, and critical hits even for max dura ships killing you easilly, so cannon fights gonna be decided on who have more lumber stored for repair and more armour mean lower danage taken and less lumber used, so survival for longer. Time and tecnology have changed, stick with old concepts from the 14gate era and you would likely become a noob dinossaur on sea fights

lets look at stuff it's good at: goes 8/8, can have almost 1400 dura, can probably mod armour and dura to full with D gaff and storm sails, this would be a good ship for BC, beacuse with 4x master cannon 16 you can probably easily do 1 shot kills, as long as it's a crit, and a good upgrade will get your armour up to nearly 45 base!!! good ship, but only for BC for people that like to meele people.

Its a Galley not a canon ship....it have almost double the armour of a CLR and more dura....so its worth a lot more as the Galley it is. If you want a cannon ship look for an AFCV

how soon give me a clue, because few months after i started playing, people said it would be soon - its now nearly 2 years since then ..

and isnt atakebune like slow as snail so any that dont have atakebune just sail round and cannon it to win. you will of course need to be in a fleet with a faster ship to sail anyplace, as battles would be over and peace treaty signed and your grandchildren born , by the time this thing arrive at battle area, and with ref to ESF tactics people would just sail out of battle area if cant cannon you???

No, it's NOT. It's a SLIGHTLY better Melee ship, but an inferior ship on the whole. So, tell me, why go with a RHG over a FLR? The only way this ship is worth as much as an FLR, is if you are the one selling it and say that it is, but, that doesn't mean anyone will actually pay that much for it.

This ship is an NPC melee skill up ship. The FLR is the PvP version.

On average modding success, it'll take you 5 of your 8 mods to reach maximum crew. Then two other mods to get your special skills (say Special Sterncastle and Rowing Assistance). That only leaves 1 mod left... not much room for good turning speed, dur or armor if you go full crew.

No. you can, howver, have either BPA or Preemptive as original. best optionals are rowing assit and special sterncastle. for original, you can use BPA or pre emptive.

FLR is clearly superior with same dura a little less armour but more turn and most important of all x5 broadside. Now...... someone said further patch will allow heavy ships with x4 broadside to add an extra one if that's true then FLR and RHG would be in the same tier.

Please don't throw out BS like it's not a cannon ship...... Yes everyone knows galleys aren't cannon ships but do you then not equip cannons? No? Why? Because you don't focus on cannon fights but you can still kill or help a teammate bring opponents down to kill range so x5 broadside is important.

Some guy above mentioned with x16 carro/cannon x4 broadside no longer matters because 4x16 is as good as 5x14 what the hell why would you assume opponents use x14 cannons and make such a comparison? Lol?

Not speaking from personal experience just from observation: Galleys are hella fast in battle so when it's team PvP say your MFCV locked opponent down in melee the galley can probably get to a crit position faster than any other ship and gain crit chances where other teammates would fail so how is x4 versus x5 broadside not an issue? You don't aim to shoot them down all the time but like person above said it's not like galleys don't equip cannons or anything... This ship is overrated

5 norm cannons = 1500*5 = 7500 pen

if you insert that into damage and damage-reduction formulas you will see that you still cannot one shot AFCV/AV/FIS

RHG has the most armor/dura combination out of row ships thus supposedly most viable row ship in PvP, but now it's extra survivability won't help it against god cannons as ALL of them will be TWO SHOT BY BROADSIDE

Seems like Erda has yet to be baptised by the fire of god cannons. Maxed out cannon 14 do 900+ damage to almost capped armoured ships but just hitting them broadside. Not hard to imagine how much damage cannon 16 will do? No way to avoid being sunk by 2 hit normal shots... besides staying well away and retreating lol~

have you ever heard of repair? retreating + repairing will save you from complete wrecking and if you are lucky you can retreat before your enemy can deal a finishing blow (job). i've tested 1980 Piercing power of cannon 16x5 without DSD and eva yes, it's 900+ damage but if i uses DSD and r20 eva + handling 1&2 the power runs down by almost it's half power lets say 400-500 broadside

RHG is mele ship not gun ship, ultimate fast ship with PEA and Spec Sterncastle. all those deck ships mean u goin to deck but if admiral have deck berier and other guy in fleet have RHG those EA ships dont have any chance except to be meled and pilaged.
we dont need to talk about skils here, coz good players have them maxed. 5days is enough to get all techs for weapon if u know how to do that.

reason why RHG i ultimate galley on server is: good mele attack, lot of sailors, lowering enemy defence, fast enough for piracy .


reason why galley and gun dont go together: u lose 1 use skill when u use rowing. if u dont use rowing ur slow.



reason why EA deck ships is good only for deck and nothing else. extra slow to cought some1 (BH or Piracy) u need to pay for speed boost or be towed close enough to attack some1.


if we comparing deck ship and mele ship lets just say that turtle ship should cost 15bil and rhg/ala/mla/... lower then 1bil. ship dont win in game, player win in game.

6b my ass. This is no more than 3.5b ticket if that. There us entirely too many galleys available. Every reseller has atleat one of these and 1 flr. Not to mention all the ala and now la available. Even a god mod 8/8 i wouldnt pay more than 7-8b for especially if it only a piracy mod.

43750 input number, that would be my build if i had RHG, thats RA and SSC skills, make sure you panel and dismantle 1st.

43751 is more of a piracy build, less for PvP
RHG, CLR, FLR all have such a different style of builds set up depending how you wanna build it.

How does Speedup 1 work on this ship... how fast would the improvement be? I checked uwotool and put it in but i dnt see any speed improvements...

Speedup 1, 2 and 3 are poorly named in my opinion as they do not affect top speed, which is why you did not see a speed improvement. What they do is improve your acceleration (both in battle and in normal sailing) so you reach top speed sooner.
