Hate to admit it buy i think 5percentoff is right. With the god cannons out, doesn't matter what the dura of the ship is as a 2 shot can instantly kill you. In my opinion maritime ships with improved gunport skill are the one's who has the advantage now and not those high dura ships. :)

I ask this because for the most part all I am seeing here is a few people arguing who is going to and why they have to buy the most NC items to win in a video game that has no real affect on the world. Sure I play and check the DB but it is only for a few hours a few days a week after my girls are in bed for the night.

Anyone else feel free to throw out your IGN and answers to the questions too. Could be interesting to know who we are dealing with.

Trader - Nah wasn't you. Who/when/how did we get to your rights and why does that matter? Morale values sound about right but how did freedom of speech come into play?

I'm guessing you are into stocks, trading, or have a financial company or the like so yeah spend as much as you want.

As for judging now that is a different issue. You see someone who is 5' and think they are short (judgement). You step into a lawyer's office and notice 2 men, the lawyer is in a suit the other in a polo (judgement). You see someone who is male (judgement). Life is about judging everyone and everything you come across every second of every day. You automatically do it and no there is no way to stop it. Also, my uncanny judgement is the reason I have the career I do.

Interference: Didn't try to interfere with anyone's life. It clearly states in my first message that it might be nice to know who we are dealing with.

P.S. Other clearly stated the girls are in bed before I play. Career provides me with enough funds to cover that and I would be one of the last father's you would want to have on your bad side haha.

OK if you are cheap ass and have 0x D.gaff 1x D.storm this ship can still reach max dura/sails 15 turn 15 wave 51 armour (90 with 3x +13 platings) if you use APN & CP as optional skills. Yes it has more cargo but the extra armour = extra acceleration (compared to FFCV) so this ship is definately better than FFCV.

Is FFCV really faster? Have you tested or assumed?
FFCV - less cargo more accel
FCFV - higher armour due to 8/8 so more accel & higher base wave which relates to speed & if you are rich you can fit in extra d storm d gaff with 8/8 a lot of the normally unfeasible becomes feasible.
I believe no one has tested the actual effect of say -50 cargo's versus +1 armor's effect on acceleration? It may well turn out FCFV is faster tbh, and at lease it's more durable and/or agile with turn and stuff. You see players like cheungpotasi tryig to trade FFCV 7/7 for FCFV ticket and get rejected.

Even -25% AFCV won't be fast anyway that little bit of acceleration really don't matter so I guess it's not worth testing FCFV's higher armour/wave or FFCV lower cargo boost their speed more....

FCV ships are tanks. Tanks need dura (same) and armour (FCFV wins) to survive and turn (FCFV wins) to reduce crit after disengaging melee.

Well you are always seen in FFCV 7/7 (the improves aren't that good and your choice of ship paint is horrid btw) and is that a MSF or MIS you're in when you get seen in many screenshots and videos (usually showing you got killed) so I don't know why you would say you don't use/need NC ships. Blitz would you recommend going -25% cargo on FCFV? On this site it says the ship will have 8 turn instead of 7 turn, does that mean going -25% only has sail/wave penalty but turn will actually increase to 8? Do you think the speed/acceleration increase from that extra -5% cargo (compare to -20%) is worth it? I am also concerned about running low on lumber should my aide be in aide battle ship (i.e., also low cargo hold).

Some earlier comments in this post says players spend >$500 a month on TB but seems to me lots of new or semi-new (eg, lv 20-30ish) players getting multiple ships they tell me they pay like $100 for 4 ships (1 being top prize) a few at least say they won top prize within a handful of TB.

cant say "TBox is rigged", but certainly the system is unfair for all. There are players with OP maritime ships without any cannon skill, others with 2-3 of that ships... while others barely 1 top ship or nothing. But, for sure, most NC ships users are complete noobs

I read someone's log forgot who's that said a top player (was it Dog?) don't use NC ships but knows that player won one from previous event. Fair to say it's for the challenge? Other players like MarcoS and Fanta don't spend on TB but those lv69/lv70 players managed to earn their top ships in game. You hate NC ships cause you neither want to spend the cash or the time to earn your ship and you claim it is "unfair"? I think the debate here is noobs win too prize too easily too often as a marketing strategy (if true) that's unfair cause they spend less money less time and it's not even"luck".

Is the -20%/-25% applied to cargo or crew+cannon+cargo if it's applied to crew+cannon+cargo then you are looking at a difference between 402 cargo vs 226 cargo that's a massive difference in supplies!
Applying same formula to HFCV is 331 cargo vs 184 cargo I guess with less crew it's just way faster problem is I don't know how it can be well stocked for long fights unless Aide is not required to be in battle ship.

The pricing rule can be like this : (MFCV ---> FFCV ---> FCFV) at least for me :XD

MFCV 6/6 is 4-5b / FFCV 7/7 is 7-9b / FCFV 8/8 should be 8-12b (assuming dgaff price is @1b each and dstorm @250mil each).

Sorry mate Bobthebrave was begging to buy Dgaffs at 1.6b about 10-12 hours ago and he was begging on and on and on. I've seen Dgaffs being sold for 2b and I heard someone traded CLR for Dgaff. Formula shows that:
With 90 armour & r10 DSD...
Going against M.Cannon (1548 piercing) with r20 Penetration and 100% hit rate (eg, r20 Accuracy/Ballistics point blank shot perfect angle)...
I take only 1343 damage from perfect critical...
So according to formula it's impossible to one shot a FCFV or MLA or whatever with >90 armour and with DSD...
So far this seems to be in line with our experience as well...

They were 9b ticket when 5 or so players are trying to sell/trade them at the same time. As always, when a ship is no longer in TB and the overall supply is low the price goes up, I'd say it's at least 10b-11b for a ticket now and an 8/8 one will cost more depending on the improves. With 3 dgaffs and maybe 2 dstorms you will be looking at 15b-16b or more.

I guess 11-12b for average one.

Panel, dismantle, r20 fee, npc fee (as much as r20 fee lol), OSS permit, SSIP, time involved, FS parts all costs so 2-3b for a maxed out one is fair and some might charge more.

If it has Dgaffs and Dstorm then expect more.

Try FFCV, a little cheaper, a little weaker (1 less improve & 2 less WR). Yes FCFV has higher cargo but with 8/8 it's actually a lot easier to go -25% instead of just -20% so you can end up with less cargo for higher speed and the +1 turn that comes with -25%).
