This ship (and probably the others) will apparently be released during Atlantis: Episode 1. That'll be some time after Gran Atlas chapter 4, so we've got a while yet before it'll be available.

An expert SB that I'm friends with gave me feedback on this ship. He agreed it looked neat and starting Wave 13 at the start was good; also seems it comes Red Pine at the start. However, his advice led me to think it would be better to wait and go for the Windjammer (65/75/30) due out in a few months -- Solar Barca chapter, which could come in October or so? Reason being, "It'll have about 200 more sail than the endeavour, and with EA and high lookout built in it frees up you to sail without caution!"

I'll actually probably go with two WJs; one 560 cargo with flotsom search, one 1091 cargo with workshop. The future Steam Engine ship skill will enhance their long-term performance even further... that's just how -I- plan to go about it, though. The Endeavor is a pretty nice ship, and should definitely make some people happy.

So just how fast is this ship and it's astro counterpart? I've seen a couple of players which I know always sail in the fastest ships who were in the Modified version of this so it just got me thinking about it.

Its a shame that many good non-Astro ships were made of non-teak.
They are hardly used because we dont find it worth to pay 5 USD for resetting.
