I heard a few people spending over a thousand USD just to get a MFCV and as soon as you get it bam something better comes along lol does NM think players will spend more? Or they just don't care players quit. One player told me he/she spoke to a GM who admitted milking existing customers and if they quit they quit as they will always have new players :(

Ya, some will complain eg, say they traded MFCV for MAV+ducats and now MFCV gets a slight armour upgrade, or whatever example, but all MMO's need balancing once in a while.

As someone else suggested adding variety to competitive ships would be another way to earn money I'll happily pay and pay and pay to collect different ships that are at the top level but just vary in their strengths and weaknesses and the role they play but just adding same ship (same physical apperance same available ship skills) with better stats to make my the ship that I recently paid for redundant is not cool gotta make existing customers feel like it's worth continuing to support the company rather than make us feel like it'll be a waste as there'll be a stronger ship soon anyway then dun quit then just hope new customers join then pay then get fed up for same reason then quit lol!

I have an MFCV and am happy with it. Its having 4 less armor and 2 less turns than AFCV does not bother me that much.
After all, MFCV, FFCV and AFCV are just cheats to the game so that you can tryout those big ships at lower levels. So it's just a matter of lesser cheat vs top-end cheat.
Personally I do not feel compelled to upgrade to AFCV.

Jean is an idiot, its obvious. anyone who knows the top players know 1340 crits have happened repeatidly. so 1405 isnt going to make you un killable, maybe slightly harder to kill, in a hugely easy to crit ship.

1340 crits happen repeatedly but not to this ship it's new and it's the first ship ever with base 42 armor that can be improved 8/8 to reach max HP while still leaving room for turn/armour improve!

again i can see alot of dumb comments - for the ones that dont even know how to sb this ship Has Armor 44 with 8 improves that means it can easily go to 250 durab with at least 15-20 turnspeed in +, 11 - 15 wave 110V 110Hand 9 + armor, when ur making the maths u got a fukin tank 44 + 9 + 10 eventualy bullet proof armoring 63 armor base add to that 39 u get to 102 armor sink that dumbasses with 1400 hp and alot of turn, it's like the doomship. Still i saw alot of players talking about it and i havent seen any on the server and im preety damn active.

MSF crew 142 as stated above means if MSF's crew drop below 130 battle will go downhill if you use canon 16, yes it has welcome melee but it doesn't always work especially if you're melee an opponent unintended due to other ship blocking in 5v5 or more battle.. you can only lose 12 crew per fight, good luck with it..

The only time BPA would be useless is if the total ship armor (including plates) was 100 or more. Damage reduction from cannon fire due to ship armor caps at 100. Anything more is wasted (or so I've been told).

This ship has different skill set because its not the counterpart of the first class vaisseau, the NC counterpart for first class vaisseau is the Modified First Class Vaisseau. This Ambush first class vaisseau is like a NC ship exclusive with yet no normal counterpart, like the expedition Tea Clipper.

Supply of NC stuff is totally random and unstable, to make things worse. Resellers destroy chances of a "fair" balance.

Ambush first class vaisseau does not have the same skill set as the non nc first class vaisseau. Buried in all the flames and shite comments above is the correct parts needed to put IGP on the ship.
It seems to me I remember seeing that GM's are obligated to answer questions on ship skills for any particular ship and will be more than happy to confirm what can and cannot be added to a ship and what parts are required.

I recently had problem buying from UWO Reserve Bank. I am a "newb" to UWO. I really adore the game but don't have the time to commit due to real life obligations. To make my gaming expirence better I decided to purchase an AFCV and 130 attack Excalibur from UWOReservebank.com. I wasn't aware or told about any "pay first promotions" either. After paying over $500 usd it was time to collect. I met with the URB representative. I was offered a basic First Class Vasseiu named "Ambush First Class Vassieu" as well as just an ordinary Excalibur with 130 DURA instead of attack. I then asked the URB rep what the problem was. He said "oops clicked wrong sword, and the ship is being modded still" He then said " just leave me your UWO login and I will deliver the ship and sword as one". Being an attorney in America I immediately realized this was fraud. I then contacted my credit card company and demanded a dispute of charge. I was awarded my money back. I highly advise everyone not to do business with UWO RESERVE BANK as it is a SCAM and maybe facing further criminal charges due to these actions!

I use to work for URB with Savvia, but it was my FIS that Jazzmin scammed from site and Savvia wont pay me back for it so screw him. Ill be a whistle blower.
UWO Bank sells ships they steal from hacking accounts and trolling/scamming players in game. They lure players in with ships online. Then they try and pass fake ships with similar names to unsuspecting clients. When the client realizes its a fake ship in the transfer, URB then asks for your UWO login telling you they will "deliver" your items when theyre done being modded.
For those that become aware of the scam and notify your creditcard company to terminate payment, its not over. UWO Bank sells ships they steal from hacking accounts and trolling/scamming players in game. They lure players in with ships online. Then they try and pass fake ships with similar names to unsuspecting clients. When the client realizes its a fake ship in the transfer, URB then asks for your UWO login telling you they will "deliver" your items when theyre done being modded.
For those that become aware of the scam and notify your creditcard company to terminate payment, its not over. OGPlanet is advertising that all players will be transferred (as per their official site), so I'm thinking there is a deal in the making with Asiasoft. Netmarble can't comment on that because they aren't in on that negotiation.

@Nina, IGP will is a passive skill, it will add you +2 gunnery, using job SenOfficer/Cannoner will make u r15-r20 gunnery. AFCV is all around battle ship, you can play melee role (APN + 200+ crew+dura1406) or just using cannon (IGP+98cannons+1406dura).

i think most have forgot or dont know about IGP decreasing the tick rate on cannons (the time it takes the cannon bars bottom right to start flashing) which increases damage, a well tunes maritimer wont just spam space bar, but with that split second to pull off a 'flashing' cannon shot for that little extra damage, and most maritimers dont use reloading in PvP.
IGP or SSC, both good skills, although AFCV, 217 crew and APN, is SSC really needed? it's already a good melee ship, why not give it a little extra on the cannon side? either choice is a good choice imo.

@Erda, You wont see any difference if you have gunnery rank at max + oxford gunnery 1-4. FYI oxford college skills "gunnery aid" add gunnery rank +1 to +2. We all know that max gunnery rank is r20,so its pretty useless if u put IGP while u have max at gunnery (Cannoner job) + gunnery aid 1 + gunnery aid 2 + gunnery aid 3 + gunnery 4.

IGP adds the equivalent of 2 gunnery ranks relaod speed, and adds a little range. Even when there are discussion if the effect of IGP stacks with gunnery r20 (because dont add the secondary gunnery effect, that make your cannon durability last longer when firing), the little extra range make your "efficient shot" area slighty larger, like using ballistics.
Also, remember that special sterncastle only works when the opponent ship uses castles... very likely a meleer will be using corvus... or why not rams, and "halve" effect isnt that great. Except you play tank role, IGP seems better (considering also that there are other "tank" ships too)

what are the techs avalible on this. i know that there were rumors of some skills being able to be put on this that you cant on other vasseau class ships

with the new custom shipbuilding this ship is more than likely capeable of having 1500 dura at g6 with national metal currently in iron/noct metal it has 1493 dura with max dura at g6
