Is there a site on any of the db's and wiki's that tell you which ships can take which original skills? I know, for example, BTS can't take EA, etc.

hmm. why not you click at original skill and see it?
i think it will show what origianl skill you can take from this ship.
you can compare it with other ship to know how true it is.

I somehow never noticed that page before. Is it accurate? I checked quite a few large trade ships, seems EA isn't available on them as original skill, Cruise Galleon included. Again, if it's accurate.

yeah this is salvage ship mean adv ship. this ship not have EA as skill. some large trade ship not have EA like BTS.

i think you'll find EA does not exist as a Original Skill only as Optional Skill

1. EA does not exist in the Original Skill list.
2. EA is only available as a Optional skill. 2.1 only if it appears in the option list for the ship you choose to be looking at.

and for those like George, who require that i make a point of the obvious

each ship has its own (not always unique) set of optional skills, the NC custom/modified ships tend to have same skills as their standard counterparts...

@Lisa Yes, EA does exist as an original skill, but it cannot be added to the cruise galleon. I added EA to a friends tow cutter for 3 original ship permits.

The original skills you can add to a ship are different from port to port, and only major cities offer EA as an original skill. You have to invest to get it to show up.

And for clarity, Claudia is correct. Clicking the button on the ship data at the top that says "Build original ship" will tell you what skills can be added as original skills for that particular ship. If its not on the list, it cannot be added. Keep in mind, some skills such as EA and direct hit prevention can only be added in major cities, and you need to invest to get it to show in the list
