Cornellia that is the truest thing said here. Metmarble has looked at UWO as a stepping stone from the beginning. They released updates in the wrong order to keep selling SSIP and NC ships. Then added NC items to compete with player made items. This would be okay if they sank it back into the game in some way...instead they try to use it for prius, 187, dice, etc. and ignore UWO until it is on the verge of fail. Even in forums they say "play new dice game, a game with no grinding". Netmarble has simply milked the players of UWO and used the proceeds to try and launch other titles.. while being entirely unresponsive to the games players.
Furthermore I would guess that netmarble is rolegold... I started this game 3 months after US release GAMA and rolegold was in the game already selling 100M ducats; when india gem runs would never allow even the biggest multplayers to build that kind of wealth in game.
Additionally they did not even try to keep GAMA safe from Asian gamers playing the server with player like aelita/ ken c. coming over and ROFL stomping the server

In all honesty, I'd rather pick Rolegold to URB.
Rolegold kept quiet before and never really made an impact to the economy, but URB came and so rolegold had to keep up.
As long as RoleGold don't spam the frieking textbox, then I'm okay with them at least against URB. ^^

Maintenance:
- Officially removing ESBT, if you have you can exchange to npc 1pc=1m
- Officially removing god gears & cannons, certain nc refund depends on the god gears
- x2 event for 2 weeks
- 1.5 rate for the new tb for the 3rd year anniversary
- 150% for spice goods
- chars with lvls below 10/10/10 can't use shout in the game to prevent rolegold spam

I've been playing UWO GAMA for 2 years and this is the first time they are having a maintenance without specifying the reason. I also remember that they have this rule about maintenance reaching for 4 or more hours, don't know what's happening to this game.

I also logged in this morning w/o having any update patch and I'm from asia. When I arrived in the office, checked uwodb that's when i heard there was a maintenance, lol.

There were server connectivity issues (random red-circle lag spike). I presume the maintenance is trying to resolve the issue (mostly related to their ISP).

The maintenance is not exactly for the game that is why there is no update patch. Only NM user accounts will receive the maintenance others (gpotao, steam) can login w/o having problems
