If you are a shipbuilder most choose Chester because the shipbuilding bonus takes literally half as much effort to unlock. Aide level 40 and 80 surgeon trait is steep compared to level 30 and 65 surgeon trait. It doesn't look like much difference but you have to remember it takes 20x the xp to level an aide as it would for you.

If you aren't concerned about shipbuilding bonus then that's all different innit?

the arms and fire prevention skill make nazario way better in the long run well worth the extra grind for SB

Arms isnt useful in the long run, eventually arms will get maxed. Also, there are much better lieutenant aides. But, him or Chester is question of preference
