This EX effect from the robe seems bugged. Myself and a number of Cetus hunters do not see any protection increase from this outfit.

So I've heard, which is unfortunate. Perhaps report it via tickets and CAs? Hopefully something can be done about that.

What if r5 means it will save 5 sailors....so instead of -95 now it's -90, that would be unnoticeable

Possible. But better to have it confirmed to be safe, especially since another piece of equipment at R7 will exist soon.
