so, anyone tested this yet?

i was curious if this requires the person to actually have the job card in possession when drinking, or if this only requires that you had it at some point and used it.

I don't understand why this skill cost so many credits. if you need a job card then just go to the GM (with a card it isn't that expensive). Am I missing something?

Having it activated means you can change jobs at a tavern with a barmaid. Perhaps somewhere where there's no guild GM, like Santo Domingo or Portobelo, Lima etc.

its got its uses. for example you could be adventuring or trading and have some pirate bothering you. with this you can change to maritime job and turn the tables

To clear things up, you CANNOT change job in the middle of the ocean, much less in a battle.

Plus, you do need an endorsement, which makes this skill pretty useless in my opinion. You can always store a few endorsements in quarters/bank and pull them when needed in the carribean, but it's really a pain.

It is useful in times like 2x when u are in EA. 15k credit is nothing when u are grinding next to a city with archive.

I usually carry endorsements for every major jobs, like cannoneer, swordmaster, guardian, muskeeteer, so that I can change jobs without having to go to calicut :)

When it says "change jobs" it means switch to another job-type. In other words, you can't switch from say, Fisher job to Ocean Explorer job because those are both adventure jobs.

You can change to any job you have the endorsement for if the endorsement is in your inventory.

One new feature has been added to this skill: an option now exists to change Union affiliation along with your job. I don't believe you can finalize a Union change without also using up a job endorsement card from your inventory, but there is some worth to this if you were planning to change from a battle job to an adventure one, or vice versa, in a region without any guilds (such as East Asia).
